"the no break handle"

Product Review: If you use the crap out of your guns the MP5 plastic handles will eventually break. When that happens we swap out to the fleming lifetime steel. These fit great, feel great and have no plastic that will break from use.
"Well built but heavy."

Product Review: This is a very well built product but it does have some down sides. I might have opted for a SW charging handle, had I known the weight of this Fleming handle. Yes, it's that noticeable. All reproductions follow the HK originals. This means a piece of steel that is overmolded with plastic or a tough rubber. Fleming made this out of solid steel and weighs 2-3 times what any other handle weighs. It should have been overmolded to reduce weight, or a hole drilled through the center to lower weight. Also, the serrations are rougher on the hands when you slap it. Plastic and rubber molded handles are much easier on the skin. Much more forgiving. I'm still giving it 4 stars because Fleming is a legend and, assuming the heat treating is correct, this part will last a thousand years. I'd rather deal with the shortcomings than to give SW money. I got this for 922r purposes. If you are on the fence, see if Robert will let you return it if you find it too heavy. I would weigh it but I don't have a scale in front of me, at this moment. Also, I put this on an MKE Z5RS and I will say that their cocking tube, or support, is not drilled correctly (straight). It was tricky getting the role pin out because the hole didn't line up for a clean knock out. It goes back in easily because you only need access to one side. Getting it out make cause you to knock off a tiny amount of paint and sliver of metal. Good luck.
