German, G3, Bolt Carrier, Semi-Auto, Poor to Fair Condition
These German army surplus bolt carriers were converted to semi-auto by Century Arms for use in their early C91 builds. The conversion simply removes the full auto trip lever engagement at the bottom of the carrier.
We list these in poor condition as Century also modified them to work with their out of spec receivers. Many century receivers have the cocking tube welded too far into the receiver, meaning a correct length carrier would hit the cocking tube abutment too early, preventing the bolt to lock into the trunion. To fix this, Century trimmed the front extension of most carriers, so they would fit correctly into their cocking tubes. These modifications are not uniform or consistent.
Since these are modified, these carriers are great for anyone who needs a project carrier, HK51 carrier or other type of conversion. For a welder, there isn't too much work required to lengthen the front extension for use on an in-spec receiver.
These were German army surplus carriers, most will be HK stamped. Some will be Rheinmetall, FMP or Kongsberg.
