The CAR814 A2 is a direct impingement gas operated rifle, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO or .300 Black Out. Designed and engineered in accordance to NATO standards. Originally designed for law enforcement and military applications. using high quality components, advanced engineering and state of the art manufacturing processes, the CAR814 A2 is built to exacting tolerances to provide the end user with a durable, reliable and accurate weapon system.
The CAR814 A2 PATROL line of rifles share all the same fundamental traits of the other CAR814 A2 rifles, but also feature; free float barrels, low profile gas blocks, ambidextrous charging handles and fire controls as well as "Enhanced Duty Trigger". These rifles are tailored to more specialized units within the military and LE communities as well as the discerning tastes of the commercial end user. The PATROL line of products are available in rifle and pistol configurations from 7.5 to 16" chambered in 300BLK and 11.5" to 16" chambered in 5.56x45mm.
