Firearm Sales Terms

Firearm sales are made in strict accordance with all federal regulations. Firearms only ship to a licensed FFL Dealer.

YOU CONFIRM:

  • You are at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun; 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun (21 in some states, know your state laws.)
  • You are not prohibited by Federal, State or Local law from receiving a firearm.
  • You are a legal resident of the state in which you wish to transfer the firearm.
  • You understand that the firearm(s) will be shipped to a local FFL transfer dealer and must be picked up by the purchaser, who will be required to provide valid identification, complete a 4473 form, and pass a background check through NICS.

STEP ONE - PREARRANGE THE TRANSFER WITH YOUR FFL DEALER

  • Prior to checkout you must confirm that your FFL dealer will accept receipt of your order
  • Provide your FFL dealer with our contact details and ask them to send a copy of their FFL to us at FFL@rtgparts.com. They MUST include your name with their email.
  • Inquire about any transfer fees. Most dealers charge a nominal fee for their transfer services. This fee is between you and your dealer and is not paid to RTG Parts.

PLEASE NOTE: We will not contact or prearrange transfers with your dealer. This is solely your responsibility. Any failure to prearrange the transfer with your dealer, which results in a firearm shipment being refused or returned, will result in a 20% restocking fee. No exceptions.

STEP TWO – PLACE YOUR ORDER

  • Create a new account or log in to your existing account. (No guest checkout for firearm sales.)
  • Add your product(s) to the cart.
  • Review and place your order.
    • Firearms, with included accessories, will ship to the FFL address.
    • Other parts in your order will ship separately to the shipping address provided at checkout.
  • Tracking information will be provided for your shipment(s)
  • Once your firearm has arrived at your FFL you may arrange a time with them to complete the transfer, which includes completing a 4473 and a NICS background check.

FIREARM RETURNS

ALL SALES of firearms and serialized items are FINAL and returns, refunds, or exchanges are NOT ACCEPTED. Once a firearm is transferred to a customer's name, RTG Parts will not accept a return or exchange under any circumstance.

DEFECTIVE FIREARMS

RTG Parts is not a warranty repair station for any manufacturer. All firearms must be inspected PRIOR to the transfer of ownership. If a defect is discovered by the customer after shipment and transfer of ownership, the customer must contact the manufacturer directly for replacement or repair. Once a firearm/serialized item is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired.
