Old French canvas money bags. This is the smaller of the two sizes, I believe for coin. Stamped "BANQUE DE FRANCE". Stuff with paper or monopoly money and leave out somewhere to impress the ladies.
These were found at an old base in Southwestern Germany that was occupied by French forces after WWII. I'm guessing these were used to transport funds for payment of soldiers stationed in Germany. Yes really, used to pay working Frenchmen...a rare collectable indeed.
