Use this tool to remove the barrel nut on your Springfield Kuna. Our barrel nut tools are made from heat treated 4140 chromoly steel, then zinc plated for long term corrosion resistance. This tool sleeves over the barrel in order to engage the barrel nut at the trunnion. Use a 7/8″ wrench or socket to drive the tool and remove/install the barrel nut. Torque spec on the Kuna barrel nut is 55ft*lbs plus Loctite 620.
