Here’s a great tool designed to facilitate removing and installing barrels from built HK style guns. The plate and rod shown in the receiver are for pressing the barrel out of the trunnion and the bigger round part in the background and brass cap are for installing the barrel in a welded receiver.
This is the longer HK rifle version designed for HK9X style rifles, carbines and pistols. We also stock a short length version (which is pictured) for the MP5 SMG and pistol style weapons. The rifle length version works for all HK 90 series weapons.
CAD drawing is of the MP5 version, rifle version is the same but each component is longer.
