Latest style German steel shell deflector. These became standard equipment on late production HK G3, G3K, HK33 and HK53 rifles.
In the 1990's the German army updated its requirements for the G3 and made several improvements. One of these changes was the addition of a steel shell deflector placed at the rear of the ejection port. These new steel shell deflectors were produced by HK and were installed on all new HK G3 rifles. We have some of these deflectors in new-in-white, unissued condition.
Once installed, spent casings will no longer fly 30 feet away but rather fall on the ground just forward of the shooter. Additionally re-loaders will love how these adapters lessen the damage done to valuable brass making reloading for the HK9X series more easy.
In the past we were only able to find used steel shell deflectors cut from demilled G3 rifles. Now for the first time we have these shell deflectors available new in wrap. These will make a great addition to any HK build and work on all HK style rifles including G3, HK91, PTR91, HK93/33, Vector93, Vector51, CETME and clones.
