Bought this to match my old CETME wood butt stock and hand guard I refinished and installed 20 years ago. The new cherry grip required me to mix a close match of stains to match the color of the original wood - a combination of Old Cherry and Minwax Gunstock. The wood itself is very good, requires just a little fitting to line up the attachment screw. Recommended.
