I think this is the best retaining plate you can buy. I had the other brand that looks like the red star arms retaining plate on my Yugo but I just wasn't comfortable with the fit. Got this one and the fit is much better. Get the Red Star and you won't be disappointed.

This little invention tightens up the trigger group pins, and holds everything into place. I did need to dremal off a slight amount off the Krebs Safety top lip , to get it to swing back into place after the install. But it had that problem prior to the FCG plate install. That Shepard Spring is an accident waiting to happen .
