These grips will work great as a set to take shooting, without having to worry about my originals cracking when firing. These arent expensive grips by any means, but they'll do the job. They do look pretty similar to the WWII bakelite black grips that a lot of P38's do have. So it looks the part, and will work well.

correct for wartime spreewerk cyq type p38s. these would be great for dressing up a postwar p38 or p1, but certainly don't have the feel of real bakelite. color has slight purple hue. reproduction, not replica. screw eventually stripped out after a year or so. still worth it as a stopgap while waiting for real or more elaborate replica bakelite grips.
