Really required very little cleaning, metal needs some paint but otherwise a great value.

I enjoyed qualifying with the G3 when I was stationed in Germany many moons ago. I don't have H&K kind of money but I do have Surplus H&K kind of money. And I must say, the felt recoil is less than what the C308 came with. Can't beat RTG's prices!

This assembly came in good condition with most ware on the butt pad and thinning paint on metal back plate. Planning to paint it black so I can have two different looks to my PTR91 FDE and it should look new.

Mine could be classified unissued. Hardly a mark on it and functions perfect.

Just got mine in. This looks as close to new as possible. A couple of minor nicks but WOW! Coat of paint and it looks good as new! Highly worth the money!

I received this yesterday. It is in very good surplus condition, and fits and functions perfectly on my PTR-100-GI. I'd also like to add a few words in general about robertrtg.com. Since acquiring my PTR exactly one year ago, I have purchased several items from this company. Everything has been priced fairly, has arrived on schedule, and equals or exceeds the described condition. This is a business you can trust every time.

Item arrived quickly and in as advertised shape! Will def come back to this vendor for more PTR needs. However, the front push pin did not fit into the receiver. The rear push pin went in like butter, no issues. (This is being installed on a PTR91 A3S.) The front push pin gets about half way down, then becomes stuck. It is extremely difficult to remove the pin once its half way down, have to use pliers to remove the pin. Not sure if its the stock or the rifle. I did try ordering a separate set of push pins (surplus), and had the same issue. I guess I'll order another butt stock and see if I run into the same issue. The butt stock is for sure seated properly btw. Not RTGs fault by any means! I look forward to doing more business with this company, thanks!
