The most important, yet most ignored machine gun part is always the recoil spring. If you think about it, most machine guns are simply a big spring pushing things around. Recoil springs absorb the recoil and push the bolt forward loading another cartridge.
A weak recoil spring increases wear and tear of valuable machine guns and decreases reliability. Countless problematic MGs have been repaired by simply installing a new recoil spring. Countless more MGs have been damaged by not installing a new recoil spring.
Condition is used surplus in VG condition. These were taken from demilled MG3 machine guns.
German recoil springs will work with all MG42, MG1, MG3, M53 and MG74 style weapons.
