MG3 BOLT / BOOSTER TRAINING KIT

German MG3 Ü Bolt & Booster Training Kit.

For training purposes the German Army frequently uses wood or plastic training rounds. These training cartridges fire wooden or plastic bullets and are considered 'non-lethal' (but don't shoot yourself OK!). Since wooden and plastic bullets create less pressure they will not function in a standard MG42/MG1/MG3.

Rheinmetall in Germany produced these Ü training kits for the German army. Each kit consists of a special bolt head with fixed ejector and booster set which allows plastic or wood ammo to reliably operate in the MG. This kit consists of everything you need to fire wood or plastic ammunition. The standard MG bolt carrier and parts are used to complete the bolt: You can use any MG42 or MG3 carrier. These bolt heads will only work with wooden or plastic ammunition.

MG Ü kit comes with a nice wood storage box with compartments for both the booster and bolt. Some even come with spare Ü ejectors.
