This is HK part number 200412, which is an unfinished G3 triple frame....a triple frame with no grenade ring welded in place.
Most MP5 clones come with G3 triple frames that were modified for use for the MP5. This modification is easy, just remove the grenade ring bushing that is welded to the triple frame. That bushing is the only difference between the MP5 and G3 triple frame/front sight.
These new in white triple frames were meant to have grenade bushings welded in place, making them correct for the G3. These however, did not ever finish production and as-is make a perfect MP5 triple frame.
On the bottom ring there are two small holes where HK would have welded the bushing in place. This is the only physical difference between a real German MP5 triple frame, and these unfinished German G3 triple frames. Once installed onto a barrel these holes will be nearly invisible. These holes can also be welded up, making them completely invisible.
