I have always considered the Chief Crazy Horse to be one of the more attractive Winchester commemorative rifles, and since it predates the ugly cross-bolt safety, it is a great addition to any collection. This particular rifle is unfired but was displayed on someone's fireplace mantel for the last couple decades. As such it has some dust in the hard to get to little crevices and the stock could use a bit of linseed oil, but other than that it is in fine condition.
This commemorative Model 94 features a 24” blued barrel with gold-filled “Chief Crazy Horse” lettering, decorative receiver engraving and walnut furniture accented with distinctive brass tacks. The buttstock features an inset Chief Crazy Horse commemorative medallion, with matching brass-tack detailing continuing onto the forearm.
This rifle includes the original Chief Crazy Horse illustrated factory box, Styrofoam insert, and wrapping material. The box displays the colorful commemorative artwork associated with this special-edition Winchester.
