The SOPROD returns gun-mounted solid cleaning rod capabilities to firearms equipped with stocks featuring battery compartments.
Designed to fit all battery-compartment style, adjustable stocks on the market, the SOPROD enables users to clear stuck cases and other bore obstructions. The SOPROD ships with enough extensions to clean a 16 Inch barrel. Package includes two self-adhesive rubber bumpers to line the ends of the storage compartment, and two rubber O-rings which keep the sections together and rattle-free.
Constructed of steel with a manganese phosphate finish, the SOPROD is designed to withstand the abuses GI cleaning rods are regularly subjected to.
With the SOPROD Cleaning Rod, end-users no longer need to tape cleaning rods to their handguards in the field, or dig one out of their pack under duress. The SOPROD rides silently in its compartment until needed, and gets your rifle back in action in seconds.
